Forgiveness is not pretending sin didn’t happen. Forgiveness is releasing vengeance to God and choosing mercy because we have received mercy in Christ.

Sometimes relationships heal quickly; sometimes trust must be rebuilt over time. Forgiveness can be immediate, but restoration can be gradual.
